Their Trees Have Returned Home!

THE TREES

A Roswell couple had to take down several trees in their backyard this year — Pine and Poplar — and they hated the thought of good wood going to waste. Trees like that usually end up chipped, burned, or hauled to the landfill.

THE WORK

Instead, they brought their logs to Meriwether Millworks. We custom-milled their trees into lumber and dried the lumber in our dehumidification kiln — about 2,000 board feet in all, every board from their own land.

THE RESULT

Delivery day is the best part of a job like this. As the stacks landed in their garage, they said it best: ‘Our trees have returned home!’ Now their own trees are stacked and ready for the home projects they have planned — from their land, through our mill, back into their house.  2,000 board feet of custom-milled, kiln-dried lumber — every board from this couple’s own backyard trees.
