We had a slab of Black Walnut just sitting in the shop.  It had been in there for at least a couple years.  We kept waiting for that ‘special’ project.  Finally we just said, “It is time to make something with this beautiful piece of wood!”  And, just in time for Christmas, we made this coffee table as a surprise.
